WHO IS STEPHANIE GROVES? 

 

As a former 8-year employee at NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences), Stephanie has a unique insight into the accreditation process from start to finish.  She led hundreds upon hundreds of accreditation teams, worked at every Commission meeting in file review and wrote the subsequent action letters, taught at workshops, was responsible for and/or involved in nearly every process at NACCAS including change of ownership, change of location, addition of new course, unannounced visits, candidate schools, initial accreditation, renewal of accreditation, appeals, complaints, annual reports, etc. In addition to working in the D.C. office, she also ran two satellite offices for NACCAS in Denver, CO, and Knoxville, TN.

Her career as a consultant began in 2001 after recognizing a need for quality consulting that endeavored to help schools understand the accreditation process and manage ways to achieve continual compliance.  She saw through her years at NACCAS that some schools struggled to get through the accreditation process mostly because of not knowing where to begin and what to do going forward.

In addition to being a consultant, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, her dog, being outside, playing tennis, hiking, and traveling all over the world.
